A white-label agency

The video was finished, delivered and paid for. Three weeks later, someone asked what the page could carry.

A supplier who flags the problem before their client sees it. What four paid orders, three of them repeats, with a white-label agency taught us about trust without a contract.

The partner

The working machine we docked into

Our partner is a white-label web design agency in the United States, building sites and promotional assets for its own clients: restaurant groups, logistics firms, pet services, manufacturers. When they need a video for one of those clients' sites, we are the team behind the curtain. Our drafts carry the BUBI logo; the finished delivery does not. There is no contract enforcing that, no NDA, no clause about not mentioning us. It is a practice they trust us to keep, not a rule we are bound by, and we kept it. It is also the kind of arrangement that persuaded us to stop leaving confidentiality to goodwill: today it is written into our terms as a mutual duty that binds from the first conversation, whether or not a separate NDA is ever signed. A partner with unreleased products or sensitive numbers should not have to rely on a supplier being decent, even when the supplier is.

The shape of it

Repetition, not a one-off

What started as a single ad, the agency's own 20-second promotional video at a first project discount, became a repeat relationship that climbed from under £50 a job to the £200 to £400 band across four paid orders in under a year. Not every order went smoothly, and not every one earned praise: one delivery closed with payment and no review at all. We are not spinning that as a win. It is the honest shape of a real, ongoing relationship.

The test

Three weeks after the project closed

Paid, approved, delivered. Then the agency came back with a problem that was not really theirs:

its 154mb, is there any way to compress it... down to something like 30mb? IDK, just was asked by website people.

We compressed it the same day, free of charge, in six hours: 153.53 MB down to 26.28 MB. Their reply: "This is great, thank you!"

Two more, in the same register

Push back, and catch what nobody asked for

When a client site called for a 4.5:1 banner, an unusually wide, non-standard ratio, we pushed back rather than just delivering it: "Is this the final required format, or would you be open to a version that's more compatible with typical video content?" They moved to 2:1.

And midway through one project, the agency itself rebranded: new name, new colours, new domain, while the video was already finished and approved. We rebuilt it at no extra charge, and caught the detail that mattered without being asked: "in the final part of the video, we mention your website address. Could you please confirm the updated URL?" Sorted in three days; same day five stars.

Why it matters to an agency

Risk reduction, not courtesy

For a supplier working white-label, flagging a problem before their client sees it is not a courtesy. It is risk reduction for a business that answers to its own clients. Their public review names exactly that:

Absolutely exceptional work. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a video. I intend to use them more in the future. Great work and willing to do revisions until its perfect!

Why it held

Nothing promised that could not be stood behind

We did not guarantee what we could not stand behind: on one project touching potential copyright risk, we said so plainly, and the work stopped there rather than shipping on a promise we could not keep. And for a returning partner, pricing stayed consistent rather than opportunistic: the same rate for the same kind of job, stated upfront.

We do not have performance data, page load times or conversions, for the videos we have delivered, so we are not claiming any.

Everything above is our own correspondence archive, April 2025 to February 2026, plus one public review quoted verbatim. The agency is not named: no identifying combination of details is used, and a named version waits on their consent. The figures are the order values as the platform recorded them.
